MercyCare is a leading Catholic, not-for-profit provider of hospital, health, aged care, family and community services in Perth, Western Australia. One of a kind in the state, MercyCare offers a wide diversity of services across multiple industries and sectors.
True to our Mission of “Bringing compassion and justice to life” MercyCare is dedicated to delivering services with compassion to the vulnerable, disadvantaged and most in need within the Western Australian community.
Over 1,200 staff and volunteers deliver services across 20 service locations in the Perth metropolitan region. MercyCare’s expanding and diverse range of services has seen the annual turnover grow to in excess of $100 million.
Our service directorates include the following:
Aged Care Services
Assisting over 1,400 people each year, MercyCare offers low care, high care and dementia specific residential aged care, home and community care packages, extended aged care at home packages, community nursing, respite packages, seniors day centre and retirement living in Mercy Retirement Village.
Family & Community Services
With 16 Family & Community Services sites across the Perth metro region, MercyCare offers a wide range of programs and services including; Workforce Development Centre, Community Support Program, Settlement Grants Program, Addiction Support, Lending Services, Basic Computer Training; Fostering Services, Family Group Homes, Child Care Services, Accommodation Services for Young People, Mercy Reconnect and Support Services for Unaccompanied Minors (Refugees) released to Community Detention.
Hospital & Health Service
Mercy Hospital Mount Lawley is licensed to treat 244 patients and provides comprehensive care for private and public patients, entitled veterans and self-insured patients and provides a wide range of clinical services including Obstetrics, Gynaecology, General surgery, Urology, General surgery, Orthopaedic surgery, Plastic surgery, Endoscopy, Rehabilitation, Maxillo facial, ENT and Medical. Other services include Urodynamics, Paediatrics, Flexicystosopy and Dermatology.
