Chris HallChief Executive Officer Chris holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of MercyCare having been appointed in November 2010. Chris has worked in service-based environments for over thirty-five years and has held senior management positions for in excess of twenty-five years in the Australian non-government community services sector and local government industry at national, state and local levels. Just prior to joining MercyCare, Chris was the inaugural CEO of UnitingCare West where he performed a key role in helping to establish UnitingCare West as a new community service organisation of the Uniting Church in WA. Amongst other positions he has held in WA he was the CEO of Wesley Mission Perth and Relationships Australia. Chris has a strong Catholic background including having worked in an executive capacity in Catholic social services in Western Australia and nationally over many years. Chris is a well known supporter of the not-for-profit sector and a well recognised advocate and driver for social justice and for changes that benefit the community. He has served on numerous advisory and consultative bodies and committees to federal, state and local governments and on the boards of various non-government organisations. He is the immediate past president of the Western Australian Council of Social Service (WACOSS) and among his current appointments he is Co-Chair of Community Employers WA and an inaugural member of the Partnership Forum, established by the Premier of WA. He was a 2009 Churchill Fellow and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. He has tertiary qualifications in business management, social work and the arts. |

Bret CampbellExecutive Director, Finance and Property Bret holds the position of Executive Director Finance and Property. He is a Certified Practising Accountant who has over 15 years experience across a wide range of industries and roles. Most recently he has been the CFO of St Ives Group (2008-2011) and previously the General Manager Corporate Services for the Brightwater Care Group (2002-2008). Bret has extensive experience in leading diverse work teams in the delivery and enhancement of complex organisational systems, processes and services, having successfully delivered lasting strategic, performance and operational improvements across health, education and commercial operations. |

Mark LoaderExecutive Director, People and Organisational Services Mark currently holds the position of Executive Director People & Organisational Services. He has worked for over 30 years in management with a particular emphasis on strategic human resources practice. Prior to taking up his role with MercyCare, Mark worked for 5 years with UnitingCare West as Executive Manager Human Resources and Administration. Mark has held various other positions including the Manager of Human Resources with the City of Joondalup, Assistant Director Human Resources with Edith Cowan University and Manager Employee Relations with James Cook University, and has had considerable involvement with a range of non-government community based organisations. Mark has qualifications in business management, industrial advocacy, human resource management and counselling. Mark brings to his position a wealth of experience in all aspects of strategic human resource management and in particular with implementing change management practices in large, complex organisations. |

Anne FoxExecutive Director, Mission and Culture Anne is currently Executive Director Mission & Culture. In 2010 she held the position of Acting Group Chief Executive Officer for 10 months prior to returning to her substantive position to which she was appointed in Oct 2008. In this role she is responsible for the strategic embedding of Mission within the organisation, and the shaping of culture to reflect the Christian Gospel and the Mercy tradition of Catherine McAuley. Anne has previously held the positions of Manager Mission Development St John of God Health Care, Director of Mission for St John of God Hospital Subiaco, Principal Consultant with Fox Associates (management consultancy), Director of Pastoral Planning for the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, Lecturer at Edith Cowan University (Theology and Scripture), and Principal of St Aloysius’ College Adelaide. She was an appointed Commissioner for the City of Joondalup from 2003-2006. Anne also has a long and on-going working relationship with the Sisters of Mercy across Australia. Anne has a Bachelor (Hons) of Music (piano & voice), and Masters qualifications in theology, cultural and organisational development. |

Dr. Anthea KingsleyExecutive Director, Aged Care Services Anthea holds the position of Executive Director, Aged Care Services, and has over 30 years experience working with elderly people. She has qualifications in arts, education, nursing, and company directorship. Her doctorate examined the psycho-spiritual processes used by older people when facing the end of their lives. She has been employed in a range of roles including nursing, education, grief counselling, and aged care management. Anthea was previously proprietor of Heirloom Biography an oral history and memoir writing service to older people. In 2006 Anthea provided aged care management training to staff of the Indian NGO Dignity Foundation, in Mumbai. She is a member of two national aged care committees, and is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars. |

Garry EnglandExecutive Director, Hospital and Health Services / Chief Executive Mercy Hospital Mount Lawley Garry holds the position of Executive Director Health Services and Chief Executive Mercy Hospital Mount Lawley. Garry has worked within the acute health care environment for more than 37 years, and has a unique breadth of experience in working at senior executive levels within the public and private hospital sectors. Garry’s depth of experience includes Director Positions within Perth’s largest teaching Hospital, and General Manager roles spanning over ten years at four metropolitan hospitals. As a member of the Executive teams for the East and South Metropolitan Area Health Services Garry held the additional portfolio for Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management. Prior to leaving the public sector, Garry was the Director of Major Capital Projects for the South Metropolitan Area Health Services which included the construction of Perth’s largest emergency department, construction of a community health facility to the Peel Region and the planning for the construction of an additional 150 bed general hospital. In July 2006, Garry moved to the private sector where he was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Mercy Hospital Mount Lawley. Garry is past President of the Health Care Association of Western Australia and represented Western Australia as a member of the Australian Health Care Association. Garry’s qualifications include Diploma in Hospital Administration, Bachelor of Health Administration (NSW), is an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. |
Mick Geaney
Executive Director, Family and Community Services
Mick has over 35 years senior and middle management experience in both the Public Service and the not for profit community services sector. In 2009, Mick was contracted to Marist Youth Care in Sydney as Executive Manager Education and Support Services and was responsible for restructuring the Directorate and developing a new residential care model for high needs young people under the control of the Minister in NSW.
Mick has held various positions with Department for Child Protection, including District Manager and the Principal Officer, Business Improvement where he was involved in numerous organisational change projects.
Mick has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Social Work, a Master of Business Administration and is a 2011 Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
