Catering for clients diagnosed with dementia, Davis House provides flexible respite options for family carers caring for a loved one living with dementia. We have specifically trained staff to meet your emotional as well as physical needs and they are dedicated to making each day as stimulating, fulfilled and fun as possible

Davis House is jointly funded by the Commonwealth and the State (HACC) and is a large home which provides a comfortable and safe environment for people with dementia. This provides the opportunity for the carer at home to continue working or to have respite.

Who will this service assist?

The service aims to meet the needs of carers caring for a person with moderate to advanced dementia at home. The service is available to carers metropolitan wide. All meals are provided and transport is available for clients living within a 7km radius of the centre.

Centre hours:

Davis House is open from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9:30am - 4:30pm on Saturdays. We are able to provide day, evening or overnight respite to allow family carers the option to work, socialize or just take some time out from the caring role.
