Mercy Reconnect Providing SUPPORT and OPPORTUNITIES for young people and their families.

Mercy Reconnect is...

an outreach support service providing assistance to young people (12 - 18) who are having difficulties staying at home, or who have recently become homeless because of family issues.

We work with young people, their parents /guardians and families.

Mercy Reconnect is a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL service.

Mercy Reconnect services

Mercy Reconnect provides a service to young people who are between the ages of 12 and 18 and their parents/guardians and families who live in the Perth metropolitan areas of:

Mercy Reconnect also provides a service to young people and families in the rural area bounded by Geraldton, Meekatharra, Kalgoorlie, Esperance and the coast, excluding the Perth metropolitan, Peel and Bunbury regions. This service is a free and confidential telephone support service.

Mercy Reconnect is funded by the Australian Government Department of Family and Community Services.

Making a Referral

If you, or someone you know, is having difficulties staying at home, or have recently become homeless because of family issues, then assistance is available. Please call our Referral Officer on Freecall 1800 800 046.

Using the Freecall number 1800 800 046 it is possible for young people and parents or guardians to refer themselves to Mercy Reconnect. Individuals or agencies can also make a referral by calling the 1800 number.

When a referral is made, clients are allocated a Case Worker who will usually make contact within the first two working days after contact. Our qualified and experienced Case Workers will assist young people/families for up to three months providing support through individual and/or family counselling, mediation, information, education, advocacy and referral. Service flexibility allows us to meet individual needs.

The Referral line is open during the following times:

Monday 10.00 am - 4.00 pm 
Tuesday 10.00 am - 4.00 pm 
Wednesday   12.30 pm - 4.00 pm
Thursday 10.00 am - 4.00 pm 
Friday 10.00 am - 4.00 pm
