Mercy Addiction Support Team
Mercy Addiction Support Team (MAST) is a drug and alcohol counselling service which offers short to medium term counselling for those experiencing drug and alcohol use or those who are affected by another's drug and alcohol use and are seeking support around this.
A counsellor will work with the person to understand the reasons behind their drug use and will assist in finding ways to make changes. Counsellors understand drug use and addictive behaviour. They provide effective, compassionate assistance and support for people with issues and concerns in these areas.
MAST offers holistic, client-centred counselling and provides family sensitive practice. MAST supports harm minimization and harm reduction strategies and employs a variety of counselling styles to suit individual needs.
Clients can self refer for MAST services, referrals are also accepted from Job Services Australia providers and all MercyCare staff.
Sessions will be conducted at 4 Brewer Place, Mirrabooka or as negotiated.
