MercyCare Ethics Committee
The MercyCare Institutional Ethics Committee is constituted and functions in accordance with:
- The National Health and Medical Research Council’s National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research involving Humans:
- The Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research
- Guidelines approved under Sections 95 and 95a of the Privacy Act 1988
- Catholic Health Australia’s Code of Ethical Standards.
The Committee meets on the second Wednesday of every second month at 5.30pm.
Research Applications should be presented by close of business ten (10) working days prior to the meeting date.
