INDIGENOUS YOUTH
If you have a vision for the future, then the IYEC program is the way to go!! Rebecca Woods is the Indigenous Youth Employment Consultant (IYEC) based in our Mirrabooka Job Network Office.
IYEC is a culturally appropriate program designed to support young Indigenous 15-19 year old youth in their transition from education to training and employment. Providing you are Indigenous and in this age group, no matter what your circumstances are, Rebecca will help you:
- Stay on at school or in an education or training course
- write applications letters
- prepare resumes
- select training courses
- offer advice about your career
- and give you information about getting a job.
