Enrolled Nurse - Community Aged Care

Responsibilities:  

Permanent Part Time 15 Hours per week.

Mercy Aged Care is a trusted and innovative provider of Residential and Community Services.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse who is interested in working within the Community.

The Enrolled Nurse is primarily responsible for providing clinical care to Community Aged Care Clients and in addition, provide support and assistance to the Care Coordination Team in the entry, assessment, care planning, service arranging, monitoring and reviewing of Community Care Clients. 

Our diverse range of Community Care Services covers the north, east and southwest metropolitan regions of Perth.

This role creates the opportunity to work flexible family friendly hours, providing nursing support to clients living at home.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current registration with the Nurses' Board of Western Australia.
• Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills and an ability to function as a leader within the team environment.
• Ability to uphold and promote the ANCI Competency Standards.
• Genuine interest in older people with awareness of their special communication needs.
• Sound clinical task experience and knowledge eg: minor wound care; medications.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks as delegated.
• Ability to demonstrate a good work ethic that includes punctuality, integrity and a Commitment to professional practice.
• C Class Drivers Licence and a Current National Police Clearance ( within 6months old)
