Throughout the history of the Sisters of Mercy people have volunteered their time to help provide services to people in need in the community. This tradition continues today, with volunteers being an integral part of the organisation.

Volunteers are valued members of the MercyCare community, enhancing and extending the services offered to residents, clients and patients in addition to raising funds by managing the Op Shop and annual book sale.
Volunteers are involved with many of the services including:
