NEWS: Name Change to MercyCare! 13 March 2007
Mercy's name has changed to 'MercyCare'!
In discussions with the fundraising experts it was agreed that our corporate name needed to reflect the nature of our business, which is providing care to the frail and disadvantaged in our community. Whilst “Mercy” suggested links to our forbearers, it failed to instill the nature of current business, thus it was decided to return to the corporate name of MercyCare.
Changes to name have only affected the following divisions:
Mercy has changed to MercyCare
Mercy Group Office has changed to MercyCare Office.
All other divisions (Aged Care, Employment & Training, Family & Community, Mercy Hospital Mount Lawley and Education) and their subsidiaries will continue using the “Mercy” prefix.
