Mercy Personal Support ProgramMe
The Mercy Personal Support Programme (PSP) is a free service available to anyone of working age receiving income support payments from Centrelink. Centrelink will assess your eligibility.
The Personal Support Program (PSP) can offer you up to 2 years support, to help you with the things which hold you back from getting your life on track. As your needs change, you may be able to suspend or withdraw from the program.
Mercy PSP can help you by providing:
- Assessments, which help you to set goals and plans for the future
- Counselling
- Linking you with support services such as drug and alcohol counselling, or housing and welfare assistance
- Training in Life Skills
- Career Development and job search activities
- Social and recreational activities which are fun and interesting
