Quality Initiatives
The Safety, Quality and Risk Management Committee is a multidisciplinary committee comprised of senior clinical and management personnel and a customer representation who meet monthly to monitor and analyse the performance of the hospital.
The objectives of the committee are to monitor and make recommendations for systems or practice changes that may help to improve the quality of services, increase safety or reduce the likelihood of adverse events occurring.
All incidents and adverse events are investigated and recommendations actioned to ensure improvements are implemented.
Performance is monitored closely through auditing and reporting on incidents and patient/customer feedback is used to foster a learning environment and a continuous improvement culture.
