Op Shop/Friendship Centre
MercyCare's Op Shop / Friendship Centre is a great place for people to get together and interact with each other and with customers. Selling a wide range of donated goods, it is entirely staffed and run by volunteers, who:
- Sort, price and display donationed items in the shop
- Assist customers and clients
- Take care of housekeeping duties
- Provide companionship
Requirements
- An interest in helping customers
- Good communication and listening skills
