Frequently Asked Questions

Some of our services do have age limits and these are specified in the relevant sections of our website. These age limits are in place to protect the safety of our service users and to ensure the services go to those most vulnerable. If you are not within our posted age limits, MercyCare has many community services that may be suitable for you. Please call us and we can refer you to a program that will suit your needs.

Due to the individual goals of the people within our services, we do not operate on a wait list. If you would like to know more about the availabilities within our services, you can contact us on 1800 800 046 or yhreferrals@mercycare.com.au. We will be able to let you know which programs have availabilities, or recommend alternative services if we are at capacity.

Most of the workers within our programs are outreach workers. This means that they are able to meet wherever is most comfortable for you.

At MercyCare, we do not provide crisis or urgent accommodation services and endeavour to respond to all enquiries, calls and emails in 48 hours. If you are seeking crisis or urgent accommodation support, call EntryPoint on 1800 124 684.
