PD Warrior Program

Evidence-based program to empower people living with Parkinson’s

PD Warrior is an evidence-based physiotherapy program designed specifically for people with Parkinson’s. Developed by specialist neurological physiotherapists, the program combines high-effort, skill-based exercise with education, motivation and the support of a small, welcoming group.

PD Warrior classes commencing May 2026, with limited places available.

Bookings now open for April individual assessments (required prior to joining classes)

Who is this program suitable for?

This program is suitable for people who:

  • Have a diagnosis of Parkinson’s or are experiencing Parkinsonian symptoms
  • Are motivated to improve their physical function and help slow Parkinson’s progression
  • Want to maximise their participation in everyday life while maintaining independence

Funding options

  • A MercyCare Support at Home Package
    If you are currently receiving support through a MercyCare Support at Home Package.

    Available through the Support at Home Program.
  • Support at Home Package (via My Aged Care)
    For people who may be eligible to access government-funded aged care services via My Aged Care.
  • Self-funded options
    Available for individuals who prefer to privately fund their participation.

Once participants complete the initial structured 10 week challenge, they have the option to continue attending ongoing PD Warrior classes.
