Stepping Stones to support young people in City of Stirling

Young people in need of mental health support services now have a new helping hand in the City of Stirling community, with thanks to MercyCare’s new Stepping Stones service.

MercyCare’s Stepping Stones is a Family Mental Health Support Service funded by the Department of Social Services, which aims to support young people up to the age of 18 and their families who are experiencing issues in their lives causing distress or sadness.

The free, confidential and optional service offers access to a variety of support programs including advocacy services, short and long-term counselling, referral to other support services, and information to help develop social skills, confidence and strength during the health and wellbeing journey.
