Saturday 30th July, 2005 saw Mercy\'s Compassion in Action Project Team hold the second of their fundraising efforts for Tsunami victims. In a night of sumptuous delights including fine wines from local wineries and delicious cheese from our great state, over $1500 was raised. This amount, added to the previous total of $6000, means that Mercy\'s Compassion in Action Team have raised close to $8000 for Tsunami victims.
The night saw BlackJaQ A Cappella Group performing, basic principles of wine tasting, sampling Rose Valley Cheese Products and antipasto meats from Dorsogna, quaffing a variety of wines from 4 great local wineries and opportunities to order superb bottles of wine.
Entry was $10 per person. All proceeds go directly to the Compassion in Action Tsunami Relief Project Team (Sisters of Charity in Sri Lanka).
