Welcome to MercyCare's Early Learning Centre in Ballajura!
Here's a little about us...
At Ballajura we pride ourselves on providing a fun and friendly environment where children feel safe and secure, families feel valued for their uniqueness and the community is respected and involved.
We are a 57 place centre, and offer care to children aged between six weeks and five years old. We are open from 7:00am -6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Our experienced, long term staff are a close knit team and well known in local community for caring for so many families in the area. Our centre is a home away from home. We believe that all children can reach their potential in a stimulating environment, with challenging learning experiences and supportive educators to guide them on their journey.

Parents at our centre love the peace of mind that comes with the app we use to communicate with them throughout the day. Xplor provides real time updates with photos about what your child is enjoying and discovering with their friends and educators.
Children of all ages also have the opportunity to care for our centre's pet chickens and guinea pigs and to contribute to our veggie and herb gardens. This is a perfect hands on way to teach children about how to care for living creatures, how things grow and develop and how to respect and care for our environment.
We have separate outdoor play spaces for different age groups but everyone often plays together. This encourages interactions between older and younger children is a key part in fostering confidence and friendships between ages.
An exciting vacation care program is also on offer to cater to your child’s interests and hobbies. We aim for your children to have a great time, participating in activities, incursions and excursions that are fun and entertaining – all of which are planned through feedback and suggestions from you and your child. The service includes morning and afternoon tea, lunch and the cost of all activities.
Amanda has worked in the early education industry since 2000, starting as a centre manager in 2009. She holds a Diploma of Children’s Services and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Amanda believes that the bonds children build in the early years, with both other children and their educators, help to shape who they become as a person. She supports her team to work together to create an inviting and welcoming place where the children blossom in a positive social environment.
Amanda loves to travel and explore new places and spend time with her friends, family, and her dog Millie.
