Family Wellbeing Program

Counselling and support for children, young people and their families.

Intervening early when children and young people express feelings of sadness, stress, anger or anxiousness due to difficult life issues is helpful. Our Family Wellbeing Support Service offers free, practical counselling and support for children, young people and their families.

Our Family Wellbeing Program offers:

  • Short- or long-term support
  • Community development and wellbeing activities
  • Help to develop skills and strengths that lead to positive emotional health and wellbeing
  • Flexible options, including after business hours appointments based in the community.

Our dedicated staff have experience helping people from Aboriginal and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds.

Eligibility

MercyCare’s Family Wellbeing Support Service is available for anyone that is:

  • 18 years of age or younger
  • Living in the Cities of Stirling, Melville, Belmont, Victoria Park or Canning
  • Experiencing early signs of mental health concerns.
