Historic memories meet modern advancements
There’s nothing quite like life surrounded by so much history, with eight heritage buildings and a site that extends over seven hectares. There’s a feeling of historic timelessness that runs over the campus, welcoming everyone who becomes part of its tradition. This tradition has now evolved to include modern advancements for security and health support, as well as bustling shared spaces for the community to come together including the Our Lady of Mercy Chapel and our stunning gardens.
Beyond the allure of the majestic campus, Mercy Village has home configurations to suit your needs, taste, and budget. It’s all about ensuring that your lifestyle can thrive in comfort and safety. For example, we have taken into consideration varying levels of mobility and generous space to move, alongside additional spaces (like common gardens and BBQ area) so that interests can flourish and evolve. Extra space also allows for room to entertain guests without needing to leave your home. Read more about the features within each home to help you select the apartment or villa that suits you.

The Town of Cambridge’s social centre is just minutes away and offers a whole schedule of community events and activities off-campus.

The Mercy Village community room is at the heart of the village. This is the space where people gather, communities are formed, and life bubbles over. We have a village choir, Tai Chi, craft groups, a bridge group, and fitness classes. The space is also available to host private functions where you will have access to the terrace – fully equipped with an outdoor BBQ – and are welcome to bring in your favourite caterers to take advantage of the full commercial kitchen.
Village library and computer access
We have created this space for book lovers and tech lovers alike. A quiet space to relax and catch up on some reading or browse the internet with a cuppa.
Our gym is equipped with standard machines, free weights, and exercise balls. The space is available for you to use with your physiotherapist or occupational therapist. If you prefer to exercise on your own, the gym is equipped with emergency buttons and a defibrillator for extra peace of mind.
Some days you just need a little extra something. Other days, you may be hosting a party, expecting a visit from the family, or attending an event. That’s why we have a visiting beauty therapist for facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and tinting; as well as an onsite hairdresser.
Our Lady of Mercy Chapel
Every day we hold chapel services and inclusivity is at the heart of every occasion. People of any and all religious backgrounds are welcome to attend.
Our beautiful campus gardens are open to be enjoyed by the wider community and it’s no surprise that people love to spend time here. You’ll be able to wander the spacious and traditional gardens to enjoy time amongst nature’s peace and quiet.
