New Migrant and Refugee Support

Empowering New Arrivals to Thrive

We know that settling into a new country can be difficult. That’s why MercyCare offers comprehensive support to help new migrants and refugees develop confidence, build practical skills and connect with their community and opportunities in Australia.

Our support services are available to people who have been in Australia for fewer than five years and include:

  • Tailored casework support to navigate settlement life
  • Workshops and classes on essential skills and wellbeing
  • Supported playgroups and early childhood support
  • Social activities that build networks and confidence
  • Pathways to education, training and employment readiness
