MercyCare is committed to a fairer Australia based on respect and justice for all people. We operate short stay, family friendly accommodation for Aboriginal people in Broome and Derby.

We offer culturally safe, secure accommodation for up to 28 days at low cost. At our Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation in both Broome and Derby, all guests receive two meals a day, fresh sheets, access to onsite WiFi and links with support services in town.

Accommodation options are mix of with family, double bed and single bed units. We are accessible to people with disabilities.

Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation is perfect for those times you need to head into town, whether it be Broome or Derby. It is a great place to stay when you or your family are visiting whether it be for health or training reasons, or perhaps big family gatherings or cultural events.

During your stay with us, we can connect you with Aboriginal Support Workers, who can help you set-up appointments with services such as Money Management Services, Department of Child Protection, Centrelink, Employment Services, Health Services, schools and more. Support Workers are also available to assist with forms and guide you through the booking/check-in process.
