Parkinson’s Support

Personalised support for people living with Parkinson’s

Whether you’re living with Parkinson’s or supporting someone who is, our experienced team can help you stay independent, active and connected with personalised care in your own home.

From allied health and nursing to everyday support, we’ll work with you to create a care plan tailored to your goals, helping you continue doing the things that matter most.

Parksinson’s Support at Home

Parkinson’s affects everyone differently, which is why we take the time to understand your needs, preferences and daily routine before developing a personalised care plan.

Whether you’ve recently been diagnosed or have been living with Parkinson’s for many years, our compassionate team can provide flexible support that adapts as your needs change.

Our Parkinson’s support may include:

Exercise and movement

Regular exercise is one of the most effective ways to manage Parkinson’s. Our physiotherapists and exercise physiologists can provide personalised exercise programs to help improve strength, balance, mobility and confidence.

Where appropriate, we may also recommend specialised programs, including our PD Warrior Program, based on your individual goals and program availability.

Speech Pathology

Changes to speech, voice and swallowing can be common for people living with Parkinson’s. Our speech pathologist can assess and support communication, helping to improve speech clarity and voice, as well as providing strategies to support safe swallowing and eating where needed.

Nursing and medication support

Managing Parkinson’s medication can be complex, with many medications needing to be taken at specific times. Our nursing team works alongside your GP and specialists to help you manage medication, monitor your health and support your wellbeing.

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists collaborate with the multidisciplinary allied health team to provide coordinated, evidence-based care to help individuals maintain their independence and achieve their goals. Services include tailored therapy programs, assistive technology recommendations, and home modification solutions to support safe and confident daily living.
