Busy Bee Brightens Carlow House

Carlow House was a hive of activity as a group of generous volunteers from MercyCare’s Business Services and Systems team got together to hold a busy bee to brighten up the facility’s grounds.

The team worked together to plant new plants and give the gardens a facelift which residents will be able to enjoy as we head into the summer months.

A new vegetable and herb garden was also installed, and the group gave the outdoor area a fresh coat of paint to liven up the space.

The mission at Carlow House is to provide medium-term, 24-hour youth supported accommodation for young people aged 16-19 years old who are homeless or at risk of being homeless while also empowering them, teaching them new skills and building their confidence as they move into adulthood.
