Celebrating over lunch

Our corporate partners enjoyed listening to stories of how MercyCare had helped transform the lives of a number of people as part of our annual partner event.

A long table lunch was held in the newly restored Martin Kelly Centre on the Wembley site.

Current partners were invited to attend and bring a corporate contact to be introduced to the work done by MercyCare.

Hosted by our Deputy Board Chair Darren Cutri the lunch showcased three speakers who gave an insight into different areas of MercyCare and how their support was making an active difference.

A highlight was a heartfelt speech by a former resident of Carlow House, a medium term supported accommodation service for those at risk of becoming homeless.

The speaker talked about the journey which has led them to studying to become a youth worker and hopefully a volunteer at Carlow House.

Partners and guests included: Aspire Performance Training & RAC; Seniors Own Real Estate & KPA Architects; HWL Ebsworth Lawyers; Mercer & Marsh; Hyatt Regency Perth & AFAIM; Catholic Super; Datacom & Next DC; CBA & Galati Group and Maxxia.
