For many of us, Christmas is a time for rejoicing and celebrating with family and friends. But for the countless children in Perth who are unable to live with their families, Christmas can be a lonely and upsetting time.
It’s heartbreaking to know that this Christmas may be the first time some of the children in our care have ever received Christmas gifts or enjoyed a special Christmas dinner. And for some, it may be the first Christmas they can feel safe from abuse and neglect.
It is with this in mind that MercyCare is asking you to become one of Santa’s Helpers and make this Christmas a truly memorable one.
