Early Learning Meet Community and Colleagues

We love meeting members of the community and the early learning industry, and this year we have already attended the Pregnancy, Babies and Children’s Expo (PBC) at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, as well as the Early Childhood Learning and Development Conference held at Optus Stadium.

MercyCare Early Learning Service attended the PBC expo in March and it was a terrific opportunity to promote our centres and programs to families within Perth.

We were able to connect with families and children, and share information about our Eco Warrior and Mini Chef Monday programs, as well as highlight the important roles these play in the development of children.

For expectant parents, we were able to answer their questions about what early childhood education looks like, and the benefits of a good early learning experience for them and their future child.

Also in March, the team attended the Early Childhood Learning and Development Conference. Over six hundred people from the early learning sector attended the conference and we were able to meet and network with other organisations providing similar services.

It was wonderful to have the opportunity to come together and share ideas and experiences, as well as listen to the keynote speakers about leadership, the influence of culture on child development and the importance of play.
