Emerging leaders in Early Learning Education were given the opportunity to enhance their skills, courtesy of a professional development program delivered by Child Australia.
The Emerging Leaders Training was a four-week course that gave MercyCare’s Educational Leaders and Assistant Managers the chance to come together to further develop their leadership credentials amongst likeminded and similarly driven individuals.
At MercyCare we acknowledge the vital role effective leadership plays in guiding, motivating and inspiring our teams.
By facilitating courses such as Emerging Leaders, it is MercyCare’s vision not only to have highly trained, quality staff but also to allow them to learn and grow.
Courtney Barnard is one such educator, who while employed at MercyCare rose through the ranks from assistant educator to Mission and Quality Project Lead across MercyCare’s 14 centres by the age of 26.
