Lemon chicken – a family favourite!

Looking for a quick and easy mid-week meal? This recipe will be the next hit in your home, and the little ones can help too! Our mini-chefs in Bassendean have been having a great time in the kitchen and prepared the marinade to bring home to their families.

Easy Lemon Chicken


  • 500g boneless chicken

For the marinade:

  • ¼ cup of olive oil
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 4 tbsp of lemon juice
  • ½ tsp of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp of dried dill
  • ½ tbsp of white rice vinegar
  • 3 tsp of honey
  • ¼ tsp of salt


  1. Add all the marinade ingredients into a bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Put the chicken in a baking tray and cover it with the marinade.
  3. Cover the tray with cling wrap and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before cooking.
  4. Remove the clingwrap and bake the chicken at 190C for approximately 25 to 30 minutes
