MercyCare Thornlie Early Learning Centre to reopen

All staff have returned a negative test result. Staff that have been identified as a casual, low risk contact or who were not at the service during the exposure times have been cleared to continue work.

As an extra precautionary step, the Centre has undergone a second extensive clean from a professional cleaning service.

The Centre will continue to operate with social distancing and additional hygiene and infection control measures in place to protect children, our staff and the wider community. MercyCare and the Department of Health will closely monitor the health of all our staff and children.

The wellbeing of the children, parents and staff has always been and will continue to be our priority. MercyCare are pleased with the actions taken and with onsite testing complete, we are confident children can resume care safely.

We look forward to seeing all our lovely families once again and thank them for their support and willingness to follow guidelines during this time.
