MercyCare has been celebrating our 175 volunteers as part of National Volunteer Week, this week.
This year’s theme ‘Give a little. Change a lot’ is in recognition of the profound impact volunteers’ small contributions have on their communities, including here at MercyCare.
In Western Australia, more than 600,000 volunteers contribute 315,000 hours which equates to more than $39 billion to the state economy each year, which is a reminder of the amazing contribution made by volunteers.
MercyCare’s volunteers work across a wide range and large number of our services and locations.
We took the opportunity to acknowledge and thank our volunteers, in particular those who received length of service awards during National Volunteer Week.
