MercyCare Bedford Early Learning Centre

Open grassed spaces for children to run and enjoy themselves and experienced educators creating opportunities for children to become successful and capable learners sets our Bedford Early Learning Centre apart.

Being a former school and next door to St Peter’s Primary School for easy drop-off and pick-up, our Bedford child care centre has plenty of space, inside and out. The expansive oval provides children the freedom to play, learn and develop their motor skills. Combined with a focus on environmental sustainability, vegetable gardens and fruit trees, children learn about environmental sustainability up close.

At MercyCare Bedford Early Learning  Centre, each age group has its own spacious play area, offering children physical activities unique to their age. These separate spaces allow our educators to focus on age-specific developmental goals and our highly qualified and experienced educational team provide a flexible, responsive and engaging learning environment tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Manager

Tegan

My passion for working with children stems from a desire to see all young people given the opportunity to thrive and be the best they can be in a safe and nurturing environment.

I’ve been working in early education since 2001, joining the MercyCare team in 2011.

I love that our centre provides so many opportunities for children to play.

I enjoy forming great bonds with children in our care and building a strong rapport with the families.

I hold a Diploma in Early Education and Care with a Certificate III in Educational Support.

I cannot recommend this centre enough. The centre is run professionally, we are informed if any subsidy issues, they are flexible and have helped us out a number of times when our work schedules have changed at the last minute. It also has beautiful grounds. A big thank you to the kind staff at the centre.

We have been highly impressed with every aspect of the care our children have received at MercyCare Bedford. Each and every one of the carers has been deeply involved, knowledgeable and caring about the development of our children, with many of them having been there for 5 years plus. In the Kindy program, the carers focus on early years learning, which has helped lay the foundations of phonics, vocabulary and numeracy learning – the kids have even come home singing in French and Portuguese! Every aspect of our girls’ well-being has been superbly supported at this beautiful, warm and well-run centre.
