MercyCare Early Learning Piara Waters
Our centre in Piara Waters is a vibrant, modern space that was purpose-built. Large, open rooms with lots of natural sunlight open onto bespoke outdoor areas that provide age appropriate opportunities for play and exploration.

Nestled within a suburban streetscape, the Piara Waters centre provides children with strong connections to the local community through educational incursions and community-based excursions, strengthening their ties to the neighbourhood.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. Special cultural days are celebrated throughout the year and Aboriginal perspectives are embedded in our day-to-day activities.
We embrace each child as a unique person, acknowledging and supporting their individual needs by tailoring their learning to nurture their interests, needs and strengths.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, MercyCare Early Learning Piara Waters delivers our unique Eco Warrior program. This initiative teaches children how to care for the planet, instilling lifelong habits of environmental stewardship and sustainability.
Through providing a rich variety of experiences – which are fun, engaging and educational – your child can build confidence and independence as they grow, develop and find their space in the world.

Centre Manager
Leah Mizen
Leah Mizen is the appointed centre manager for our Piara Waters Early Learning Centre.
Leah, who has almost 20 years’ early learning experience, was the centre manager at Thornlie for nearly five years before accepting the role as centre manager for Piara Waters.
Leah’s substantial management skills will support the successful opening of the centre, while building a sense of community amongst staff and families.
“I am excited to be the first centre manager at Piara waters as it brings two things I am passionate about – MercyCare and the local area of Piara Waters. The very place I am lucky to raise my school aged children.” Said Leah.
“Piara Waters has such a diverse culture and it makes me proud to think I get to continue my journey of supporting families in this wonderful new facility, available to the families of our local and surrounding areas.”
