MercyCare Early Learning Ellenbrook
As an integral part of the community, Ellenbrook Early Learning Centre prides itself on the close relationships between staff and families, working together to ensure each child receives the individual care and learning opportunities to thrive.

The seven architecturally designed rooms at our Ellenbrook child care centre provide bright and fun learning spaces for our children to learn. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill our rooms with natural light, flowing out to our large, nature-based playground that encourages children to use their imaginations and to play independently.
A consistent team of educators ensures children feel safe and comfortable in their home away from home, especially children who are new to child care and early learning centres. Our highly qualified and experienced educational team provide a flexible, responsive and engaging learning environment tailored to each child’s individual needs.
Learning activities are very much led by the children, their interests and a reflection of the community they belong to. We learn about and celebrate cultural events, building lessons on the individual interests of the children. Children learn about the environment through our environmental sustainability program.

Centre Manager
Cara
I am the Centre Manager here at Mercycare Early Learning Ellenbrook. I’ve been part of this wonderful centre since June 2023, bringing over 25 years of experience working with children.
I started my career in early childhood education in 1998, beginning as a trainee and growing into the role of Centre Manager across various services. I love being able to create sustainable environments and help young minds understand how we can care for the land we live on.
By introducing animals and designing inviting, engaging spaces, I aim to spark children’s curiosity and inspire a love for learning and nature.
As a mum of four myself, I deeply understand the joys and challenges that come with raising a family. This experience allows me to connect with families on a personal level, empathising with the busy routines, the milestones, and the little moments that make parenting so special.
My journey as a parent helps me relate to the needs and concerns of each family, ensuring that we create a warm, supportive environment where everyone feels valued and understood.
My passion lies in working closely with children and their families and seeing each child’s unique journey unfold as they grow into amazing individuals is truly the highlight of my career. I’m excited to be part of your family’s journey with us!
