Close knit community
Our long-standing staff and smaller size mean our educators are able to establish close bonds with the children at our centre.
We invite parents to be part of their children’s childcare experience by welcoming them into our community and holding events throughout the year to enable them to become involved.
Ages and stages
Babies, toddlers and kindy aged children have their own indoor and outdoor play spaces.
Playtime
Verandahs, shade sails and trees provide a comfortable outdoor area for children to explore.
We have paths for children to ride and scoot, a sand pit for creative play and nature play elements to explore and problem solve.
Children love gathering food from our vegetable garden and observing the antics of our pet chickens.
Meaningful learning
We value the environment, have a big focus on recycling and are always thinking about how our everyday activities impact on the world we live in.
As part of our MiniChef Mondays, children of all ages work together to follow a different recipe each week, using ingredients from our very own veggie garden to create tasty food.
Our kindy aged children also take part in a School Readiness Program to ensure they are prepared for the next step in their learning journey.
Stay Connected
Parents at our centre love the peace of mind that comes with the app we use to communicate with them throughout the day. Xplor provides real time updates with photos about what your child is enjoying and discovering with their friends and educators.
Quality service
The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority has rated our centre as Exceeding.
Flexibility
We offer flexible care arrangements, including half days and the option for a 10-hour session which means you can make the most out of your childcare subsidy across the week.
Location
Our centre is located on a quiet corner opposite Lakspur Park in Heathridge, which is a short distance from the northern hub that is Joondalup.

Candice
Manager Working at a small centre means I’m able to get know each and every one of the families and children that come through our front door.
I have great educators that have been at the centre long-term and they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience with them in their everyday interactions with the children.
It’s a great feeling being able to provide a service to families, so they feel confident and secure leaving their children in our care.
I have an Advanced Diploma Children’s Studies, I started in early learning in 1997 and joined MercyCare in 2002.
