A Night to Remember at the 2025 ECLD Sector Awards
The 2025 Early Childhood Learning & Development Conference (ECLD ) Sector Awards was a night to remember for the MercyCare Early Learning Services team.
On Friday 7th March 2025, MercyCare Early Learning Centre Landsdale and MercyCare Early Learning Centre Ballajura were represented, as finalists, at the Child Australia Early Childhood Learning and Development awards.
Since 2009 Child Australia has celebrated outstanding educators through inclusive sector recognition, formerly known as the WA Childcare Awards.
The ECLD WA Sector Awards celebrate commitment, innovation and exceptional achievements of outstanding individuals and services shaping the sector in Western Australia.




Celebrating MercyCare’s Award-Winning Educators and Practices
MercyCare’s Landsdale Early Learning Centre was a finalist for ‘Excellence in Outdoor Learning’, while MercyCare Ballajura Early Learning Centre was a finalist for ‘Excellence in Supporting Child Development’.
We are proud to announce a MercyCare Early Learning Centre Ballajura won the award for ‘Excellence in Supporting Child Development’. A huge congratulations to the team and their continued commitment to child development.

Here’s what was said about Ballajura’s win:
“MercyCare Ballajura have demonstrated outstanding commitment to children and families with inclusion support needs. The team is skilled at identifying developmental delays and working collaboratively with allied health professionals consistently to reduce appointment burdens and align practices within the service to provide seamless approach to inclusion for both families and children.”
Congratulations to all award nominees, finalists and winners. It’s an incredible acknowledgement to be recognised sector wide and we are very proud of this significant achievement.
2025 ECLD Conference
The following day, MercyCare Early Learning Services attended the 2025 ECLD Conference as exhibitors, enjoying the opportunity to network with over 700 other passionate Early Childhood Education and Care professionals.


This event offered a chance for educators and leaders to connect, learn, be inspired, and participate in expert-led breakout sessions.
Opportunities such as the ECLD Conference provide valuable insights and knowledge to support the continuation of exceptional services for MercyCare Early Learning Services.
