MercyCare is excited to announce new spaces are open for our Youth Action Group (YAG). Offering young people aged 16-25 the opportunity to shape the future of youth services across Western Australia.
This initiative aims to amplify the voices of young people, ensuring their ideas and perspectives are at the heart of MercyCare’s programs and services.
“We are committed to listening to the voices of youth and acting on their insights,” said Suzanne Caren, General Manager of Youth, Wellbeing and Accommodation.
“The Youth Action Group continues to help us improve how we engage with young people, but it also offers participants the chance to grow their skills, build confidence, and gain invaluable experience.”
YAG members meet monthly at MercyCare’s West Perth office, where discussions will focus on issues impacting young people accessing MercyCare services.
The meetings are casual and designed to be flexible. To accommodate busy periods like exams or cultural events.
Whether you have personal experience with youth services or are simply passionate about making a difference, YAG offers a unique platform to let your voice be heard.
If you’re between 16-25 and ready to make an impact, MercyCare invites you to apply and be a part of this exciting journey.
