The spirit of giving is alive and well with a recent donation from with the team at NRW Holdings who have kindly donated 26 refurbished iPhone 8’s, a $500 Visa card to purchase phone credit and $500 dollars’ worth of $50 dollar SIM cards to our Youth Wellness and Accommodation services.
Rather than contributing to landfill, the skilful IT team at NRW Holdings restored the phones, giving them a second life for a good cause.
The devices, credit and SIM cards will help service users access vital services such as entry point for crisis accommodation, emergency relief, phone based and online mental health support, while the $500 Visa card will be used to supply phone credit to those who already have a working SIM card.
Thank you to NRW Holdings for this generous gift, and to the Family and Community Services team who identified this opportunity and brought it to fruition.
