Easter surprise for children at Seville Grove

Children at MercyCare’s Seville Grove Early Learning Centre had an Easter surprise, when they had a visit from a range of baby farm animals at their centre.

The children were delighted by a visit from the Old MacDonald’s Travelling Farm on April 7, which included baby Easter rabbits and chicks.

The children had the chance to pat, bottle feed, hand feed and brush their adorable new friends.

“There was so much excitement as children actually got to not only see the animals, but really interact with them,” said Seville Grove Manager Michelle Hodges.

“Not only was it fun, but it also provided a really great opportunity for us to educate the children about the different animals.

“The program also taught them how to care for animals by showing them how to feed them, as well as teaching the children to be very gentle with them.”

MercyCare’s Seville Grove Early Learning Centre located at 11 Poad Street, is a family oriented, community minded centre providing programs for 60 children between six weeks and six years.
