The home, which has been designed to give residents and their family a sense of belonging and connection, will feature safe, continuous walkways, private gardens and carefully thought-out spaces for essential care services.
Located off Maddington Road, adjacent to our existing aged care home, the new facility will be home to 108 residents, and will feature a design based on the small house model of care. The small house model of care creates living environments which are home-like in appearance, domestic in scale and provide a more intimate environment. The Maddington Residential Aged Care Home will feature six small houses spread over two levels.
Residents will also have access to shared facilities like a Wellness Hub and easily accessible therapeutic gardens.
