At MercyCare Maddington, our vision is to create a vibrant, inter-generational precinct incorporating a new 108-bed home with six homes within this community featuring just 18 rooms, with dedicated staff passionate about understanding what is important to you.
Our new home includes a sensory garden designed to be a shared space for young and old alike, a self-service café, a hair salon, small communal spaces for socialising and enhanced dining experience and a wellness hub that promotes wellbeing and independence.
Designing our new Residential Care Community
The small home model of care creates a living environment that is home-like in appearance and domestic in scale, and it provides a more intimate environment while providing residents with access to shared facilities like a wellness hub and easily accessible therapeutic gardens.
Connection with nature is a key feature, and the courtyard and external areas are designed to encourage residents to take advantage of outdoor areas.
Central living areas and dining settings have the feel of a family home. With a kitchen designed to encourage independence and enable access to the food experience.
Bedrooms are designed to feel comfortable and homely while supporting high-quality clinical and personal care.
Our aged care home design principles support memory and wellness. The advanced technology built into the home will allow residents an even greater social connection to their loved ones and the community.
Maddington Aged Care Facilities and Staff
Personalised care is paramount. Qualified nurses are on duty, and all residents can access occupational therapy and physiotherapy, therapy activities and other health services. Our clinical staff and carers are supported by our dedicated volunteers, who attend regularly to offer companionship.
It’s the staff that makes the difference. Many of our staff have been with us for years and know the importance of partnering with you and your family to ensure personalised care.
