Safety, Stability and Support for Women Transitioning to Secure, Long-Term Housing

This service provides safe transitional accommodation in Broome for women aged 45 and over who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness or family and domestic violence. This service supports women from the West Kimberley district, as well as women who are relocating to the region for safety due to family or cultural connections.

The program provides safe, supported accommodation for up to 12 months, alongside personalised case management to help women stabilise, rebuild, and plan for long-term housing.

What We Provide:

Residents are supported through personalised case management, working alongside staff to identify goals and develop practical plans for long-term stability. Support may include assistance securing sustainable housing, connecting with health and wellbeing services, accessing income and financial supports, strengthening community connections, and navigating services and appointments.  The program offers a calm, supportive environment where women can take time to stabilise, rebuild confidence, and plan their next steps.
